With a passion for doing what's right for his clients, Alexander D. Nirenstein's 15 years of legal experience led him to co-found the Nirenstein Ruotolo Group (NRG Family Law) in 2003, Arizona's most prestigious boutique family law firm.

Mr. Nirenstein, responsible for the supervision of NRG's business operations, has grown to be one the most sought-after divorce attorneys in the Southwest, handling cases involving prominent social figures and celebrities. As NRG's Managing Member, Mr. Nirenstein heads a legal team of renowned reputation and unmatched experience that provides strategic counsel in some of Arizona's most high-profile and highly contentious litigated cases. He has also dealt extensively with complex community property distribution matters, as well as interstate and international custody disputes.

With an edge for business, and a mind for taking the unbeaten path, Mr. Nirenstein's success in the legal field includes working closely with the president of the New York Chapter of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in New York, where he also represented a multitude of the state's most prestigious and high-net-worth clients in family law cases.

Since coming to the Valley, Mr. Nirenstein has taken an active role in the community. His involvement includes donating his time to the Men's Anti-Violence Network (MAN), a domestic violence prevention and public policy awareness organization headed by the Arizona Foundation for Women. Mr. Nirenstein also authored a monthly divorce and family law column in the Phoenix Business Journal and hosts Arizona's only family law blog, at www.azfamilyblog.com, where he and his team provide expert legal advice on family law and divorce as a public service.

Admitted to practice law in Arizona, New York and Connecticut, and licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Mr. Nirenstein received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina.
